Evgeniy Kravtsov is a Russian artist, born in the Altai region in 1965. In 1989 he graduated from the Novoaltaisk art school. In 1989-90 he taught drawing in the Novoaltaisk Art School. In 1996 he graduated from the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. The most favourite subject in the work of Kravtsov is the nature of the Russian North, where the artist regularly went to expeditions.
The artist currently lives and works in Kosteryovo Vladimir region. His favourite genre is still life with the images of everyday household objects: garlic, baskets, table cloth.
Kravtsov has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Russia and abroad. His works are kept in the Ilya Glazunov Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Training, in private collections in Russia, France, Britain, Italy and the USA. He took part in the reconstruction of the King’s Gate in the Temple of Christ the Savior.
